Beautiful location and stunning views, but cleanliness and accommodation details need improvement We stayed at Villa Mediterraniala in Lefkada for 7 days. The house is located in an absolutely beautiful spot, right by the sea, with a stunning view. The property itself has a swimming pool, sun loungers, a lovely garden and a barbecue area, which are all great features. Unfortunately, the cleanliness of the house was a major disappointment. The kitchen was sticky and dirty, the shelves had visible dust and dirt, and some of the dishes were not properly cleaned. The bedrooms and bathrooms also did not feel properly cleaned. It seemed that only the bed linen and towels had been changed after the previous guests, rather than the house receiving a thorough clean. Another important issue was the number of bedrooms. We booked the house for 7 people — three couples and one additional person — because the listing stated that the property had 3 bedrooms. However, in reality, there are only 2 proper bedrooms, plus a very small room that is more like a walk-in wardrobe and is not suitable for a couple. As a result, one of us had to sleep on a mattress on the floor for the entire week, which was far from what we expected based on the listing. The view, garden and location are truly exceptional and have a lot of potential. However, the property needs significant improvements in terms of cleanliness and maintenance, and the listing should not advertise the house as having three proper bedrooms when the third room is not realistically suitable as a bedroom. Overall, a beautiful property in an amazing location, but the cleanliness and accuracy of the accommodation description need considerable improvement.
